Welcome to Loughton Bowling Club.
We welcome anyone who would like to try the sport of bowls or just would like to enjoy a friendly social environment. If you wish to join our bowling club as a playing or social member please contact us here.
Benefits of Full playing membership include unlimited use of bowling facilities during the outdoor playing season (April – September)
We offer a months free trial and half price membership for the first year.
The Club was formed in 1919 as the Loughton Lawn Tennis Club.
In 1937 the Club moved to its present position and received the title of The Loughton Lawn Tennis & Bowling Club Ltd.
The Club changed its title to Loughton Bowling Club Ltd in 2003.
The Bowling Green was opened in 1938 and became affiliated to the EBA and the ECBA (now Bowls England) in 1939.
